Private Garden & Lawn Maintenance
Keeping your home’s outdoor space healthy, neat, and enjoyable year-round
Scheduled Mowing: Mowing routines matched to grass growth cycles (typically fortnightly through spring and summer).
Edging & Borders: Defining clean lines along lawn borders, flowerbeds, driveways, and pathways using professional line trimmers and manual edgers.
Lawn Health: Seasonal treatments, aeration advice, and leaf clearing to prevent turf disease and patchiness.
Hedge Trimming: Precision cutting for formal hedges (privet, laurel, beech) and informal boundaries.
Shrub & Border Care: Pruning back overgrown branches, thinning out dense shrubs to encourage healthy bloom, and seasonal flowerbed weeding.
Mulching & Soil Care: Bark mulching applications to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture in display borders.
Eco-Friendly Weed Management: Non-chemical removal of weeds and moss from block paving, patio slabs, gravel, and tarmac.
Seasonal Clearance: Clearing accumulated leaf litter, blown debris, and organic waste from entertaining areas and driveways to eliminate slippery surfaces.
Spring Prep: Clearing winter debris, edging beds, and prepping lawns for rapid spring growth.
Autumn/Winter Cutbacks: Cutting back herbaceous perennials, leaf sweeps, and preparing sensitive plants for frost.
Unlock Side/Rear Gates: Please ensure all side gates, alleyway locks, or garage access doors leading to the garden are unlocked by 8:00 AM on your scheduled visit day.
Key/Code Reminders: If you’ve arranged a key code or lockbox access with us in advance, please ensure the combination is up to date.
Clear Toys & Hosepipes: Please pick up any children's toys, garden hoses, solar lights, or temporary lawn furniture from grassed areas.
Pet Waste: For the safety and hygiene of our team and equipment, please ensure lawns and pathways are clear of dog/pet waste prior to our arrival.
Dog & Pet Safety: Please ensure dogs and other free-roaming pets are kept indoors or securely inside the house while machinery is in operation.
Paved Pathways & Driveways: If we are scheduled to carry out hedge trimming, power sweeping, or blow-downs, please move vehicles slightly away from close-adjacent hedges or driveways where possible to allow safe clearance space.
Rain & Wet Conditions: In the event of heavy rain or saturated ground, lawn mowing may be paused to prevent turf damage. We will automatically carry out alternative task work (such as hedge care/border maintenance) or reschedule your lawn visit to the next available dry window that week!
